Since I'm catching flack for not updating frequently enough (Troy), here's the first installment for April! A few people have asked, and I hadn't had a chance to post, but I canceled the appointment w/ Dr. C last week. I am just crazy busy at work and I wanted to wait until after my appointment with Dr. Levine this Fri. I touched base w/ Dr. Levine's office yesterday and we're all set for my appointment this Fri. I am really hoping I don't have to do another EMG though. For those who haven't heard, we created a team for this Sat.'s MDA Ride & Stride. All of the donations raised by our team are going to be directed towards ALS research and care. I don't have the links available right now, but I'll try and post them later today if anyone wants to join the walk or make a donation (and we're having a picnic after the walk). I am a bit worried about the walk bcz I don't think there's any way I'm going to be able to walk the full 5k and I refuse to go in a wheelchair. Bob checked w/ the MDA yesterday and they will be giving rides back via van if needed and they are providing wheelchairs. Bob thinks I should finish via wheelchair and he'll push me, but I refuse to get in a wheelchair . . . I don't know why, but I think once I'm in one once that it's like giving up. I know it's a reality I'll have to face eventually, but I'm not there yet. So, instead I'll just sneak a ride back w/ the van :-) More updates to come later this week after my appointment and the walk.

It is about time! How do I find out if they are having a walk in my area.

I checked the MDA web site and they are only showing four locations in all of CA this year and the remaining ones all look like they are in southern CA. (http://www.mdawalk.org/FindaAWalk/)
HOWEVER, the ALS Association, the only non-profit totally dedicated to ALS, is in Fresno on June 1st. It may be too early w/ the little one but let me know if you decide to do it and we'll try to plan to be there for it.

I would like to do the ALS walk/run/?, but you have a point with Thomas. I just can't dedicate my time to anything around then.

Okay, this comment comes a little late but... You listen to Troy? NO ONE around here does - tee he he!! I can't believe the walk is pretty much when I am due :-(.
